Now it's time again! Pink Programming Sunday Malmö is back after a very needed and awesome Christmas break 👏

Our first host of 2019 Pink Programming Sunday Malmö is  Axis Communications - Axis is the market leader in network video. They invented the world’s first network camera back in 1996 and we’ve been innovators in video surveillance ever since, increasing the security of millions of people worldwide and helping to meet the growing need for a smarter, safer world. Don't miss this out 😀.

All women and transgender people of all ages and programming experience levels are welcome. All you need to bring is a laptop, a charger and a pair of headphones for tutorials. The event is free of charge and a free lunch will be served. You will receive an email regarding if you have a spot on the event or not.

If you have registered and need to cancel for some reason - please do so through the link provided in the registration email. We have a limited number of spots, and someone else will be happy to take your place!

Intro to Modern Web Development: React

Do you want to have the skill to build your own website using one of the most in demand technologies in modern web development?

In the current climate of web development, three technologies reign: React, Angular, Vue. From the smallest personal projects and startups to huge organizations, these technologies are used in a wide range of advanced web applications. Knowing the basics of these technologies will put you right where the future of web development is heading.

My workshop will have a brief introduction on the current state of web development, and the best ways in catching up and learning the latest technologies. It will then focus on React, Facebook’s own Javascript library built for intuitive and interactive web interfaces. Whether you're a student in the field or a complete beginner, the tutorial I will guide you through will help you set up everything you need to learn about the foundations. As preparations, Visual Studio Code and a curious mind into the world of web development are all you need!
